Atefeh Abdolmanafi


Atefeh has been educated and trained as a clinical psychologist (B.Sc. & M.Sc.) and psychologist (Ph.D). Experienced as a psychologist/consultant, working with wide range of client affected with mental and behavioural health issues e.g, depression, stress, anxiety, grief, trauma, personality disorders, couple, family, or relationship issues.

During her years of psychological experience, Atefeh has provided psychological assessment and intervention to adults, couples, and youth. Atefeh mainly is responsible for assessing and treating individuals with emotional and behavioural issues and employs a range of therapeutic approaches, specifically selected to match individual client needs. Atefeh integrates Cognitive Behavioural and Schema Therapy in her clinical practice.

Atefeh has worked as a researcher after PhD graduated in sexology field in department of Sexology at Curtin University for three years and has clinical experience in working with individuals and couples with sexual dysfunction and sexual dissatisfaction.

Atefeh has varied years of experience working with a diverse population. Atefeh completed her PhD qualifications in Psychology in 2016 and since then she has worked, both internationally and nationally with adults and couples.

Atefeh is a psychologist fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. She integrates  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioural couple therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy in her therapeutic practice.

Sessions can be held in English and Persian (Farsi).

Consultations are $200 for 50 minutes, with Medicare rebates.
