Brianna Garratt - Provisional Psychologist (Hornsby)
Brianna is a compassionate and dedicated Provisional Psychologist who is completing the final stage of her provisional pathway. She is aiming to obtain general registration as a psychologist in September 2026.
Based at Logic Lounge’s Hornsby clinic, Brianna will be available four days per week from September 2026. She works with children from eight years of age, adolescents and adults, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Brianna has experience working with a broad range of clients through her work as a Provisional Psychologist at Logic Lounge and in other clinical settings. She has particular experience in the administration and reporting of psychometric assessments and is passionate about helping people better understand themselves, identify their strengths and discover how they can work towards their potential through the assessment process.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Brianna continues to develop her knowledge and experience across different therapeutic modalities so she can adapt her approach to the individual needs of each client.
Brianna is also contributing to the planning and development of Logic Lounge’s DBT group therapy programs for adolescents and adults. These programs are designed to help participants develop practical skills for managing emotions, building resilience and improving their relationships with others.
Brianna’s warm and empathetic manner helps create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. She also has a strong interest in Forensic Psychology and continues to undertake self-directed learning in this area and across other topics relevant to her professional development.
