Our team includes psychologists and counsellors approved to provide services under various state-based support schemes:

Victims Services (NSW) – Trauma counselling for individuals affected by violent crime across New South Wales. Telehealth and in‑person appointments are available, with up to 22 hours of no‑cost support via Victims Services funding.

Victim Assist (QLD) – Victim Assist Queensland supports those impacted by violence, assault, or abuse through trauma‑informed counselling and assistance. Sessions are generally available within 5–7 days of approval, offered via telehealth across Queensland with no upfront cost.

Victims of Crime Counselling (VIC) – Under the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT), eligible survivors of violence, abuse, or trauma can access free psychological support via telehealth or face-to-face, covering the needs of those across regional and metropolitan Victoria.
What to Expect from the Process

Eligibility & Approval: Begin by submitting your request to the relevant state victims registry (NSW Victims Services, QLD Victim Assist, or VIC VOCAT). Once approved, Logic Lounge can book your counselling. We typically see clients within 5–7 days of receiving approval.

Sessions: Depending on the jurisdiction, you may receive a set number of funded sessions (e.g., up to 22 hours in NSW), with potential for extension in exceptional circumstances.

You may be eligible if you:
– Were a victim of a violent act in NSW
– Are a close relative or witness of a crime
– Experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, physical assault, child abuse, or modern slavery
– You must currently live in NSW or the ACT. - Apply Through Victims Services NSW
