Ayuna Godinez - Registered Psychologist (Engadine)
Ayuna Godina is a Registered Psychologist at our Engadine Psychology Clinic, fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She works with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, supporting clients across a broad range of psychological presentations. Ayuna holds a Master of Professional Psychology from Western Sydney University and brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to her clinical work.
Ayuna supports clients at different stages of life and has an interest in working with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, life adjustments, relationship difficulties, women’s issues, and confidence and self-esteem building. She also works with clients involved with Victim Services, as well as WorkCover and CTP presentations, and is mindful of the emotional and practical complexities that can accompany these experiences.
Ayuna is known for her warm, genuine, and collaborative approach. She works alongside clients in a strengths-based and holistic way, tailoring therapy to each individual’s goals, values, and needs. Ayuna aims to create a supportive and respectful space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes at their own pace.
Ayuna delivers evidence-based therapy using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), alongside mindfulness-based and narrative therapy approaches. Her work focuses on helping clients build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and strengthen emotional resilience.
Outside of her clinical work, Ayuna enjoys spending time with friends, being outdoors, and exploring good food. She values balance and well-being in her own life, which informs her compassionate and considered approach to supporting others.
