Ebony Cross - Provisional Psychologist (Drummoyne & Engadine)
Ebony is a compassionate and dedicated Provisional Psychologist at Logic Lounge Psychology & Psychiatry in Drummoyne. She began her journey with Logic Lounge as a volunteer facilitator in the Kalm Kingdom program, a group-based school initiative delivered at Drummoyne Public School that supports children in building resilience, strengthening emotional regulation, and nurturing creativity.
Ebony has experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental differences. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents through middle childhood and adolescence, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Ebony is committed to working collaboratively with families to support children in reaching meaningful goals.
Ebony also has a strong interest in supporting adolescents who have experienced interpersonal trauma, including divorce or separation, domestic violence, bereavement, and bullying. In addition, she is drawn to working with young adults experiencing depression, mood or personality changes, and post–traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
As she continues her professional development, Ebony is eager to build her skills across evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Known for her warm, patient, and empathetic style, Ebony strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. She has a strong interest in Clinical Psychology and plans to pursue an Area of Practice Endorsement (AoPE) in this field in the future.
